From a young age, I’ve always had an interest in teeth. This was all thanks to my dentist, she would allow me to watch over her shoulder as she worked on my parents' and my brother's teeth. Her name was Dr. Melo, and she encouraged me to strive for this dream. My decision, however, was challenged by the amount of schooling needed to pursue this career, but my orthodontist encouraged me to go down this path.
As of now, I have been shadowing different specialized dentists to broaden my knowledge of all the sides of dentistry.
